Delete your account

In the app

Open Kalooki Crew, go to Settings › Delete account, type DELETE and tap Delete Everything. It works whether or not you’ve signed in, and needs a connection. Your account and everything in it are deleted from our servers straight away. It can’t be undone. The app then starts again with a new, empty account.

Deleting the app from your phone doesn’t delete your account.

Without the app

If you’ve signed in and no longer have the app, email support@ackeeandsoftware.com from the email address your account uses, and ask us to delete it. We’ll check the account is yours, delete it within 30 days, and tell you when it’s done. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us that, and we’ll work out with you how to find your account.

If you never signed in, your account is anonymous: there’s no email or other detail we could use to find it. It can only be deleted from the app, on the phone that made it.

What’s deleted

• your account, and your email address if you signed in
• every game you kept score of, with its rounds, scores, penalties and bonuses
• your players and crews, and your house rules
• your photo
• your phones’ push tokens and your notification settings
• invites you’ve sent, and your links to other people’s tables

If you keep score for others, the games at your table are yours, so they go for everyone: the people who joined your table lose them from their phones too. The app names them before you delete.

What’s kept, and for how long

Games at someone else’s table belong to their account. Deleting yours unlinks you from them, but your name stays in their games so the scores still add up. To have it taken out too, ask them to rename or remove you, or email us and we’ll help.

Copies in our hosting provider’s routine backups are removed as those backups expire. Our providers also keep short-lived technical records, such as when a request was made and the internet address it came from, for a short time.

If you email us, we keep the email only as long as we need it to deal with your request.

Deleting some of your data

You don’t have to delete your account to remove things. In the app you can delete a game or a crew, remove a player, change or remove your photo, and turn notifications off. A deleted game or removed player disappears from the app straight away; its record stays on our servers, hidden, until you delete your account.
